There we will start out tour on a kickbike guided by a local official guide that will show us the city.

We will visit El Born, Santa Maria del Mar, Carrer Montcada. We will go to Port Olimpic and come back along the coast Port Vell and finish our tour at the same place we start.

About KickbikesThere’s no better kick!

If you like being outdoors walking, cycling or other outdoor exercise then you will love Kickbikes. Riding Kickbikes is probably the most enjoyable exercise you will ever do and as a bonus it gets you to work away from the traffic, to the shops, or just gets you about for pleasure and exercise - but beware - it is addictive!
Kickbikes are not only the fastest and most elegant footbikes (scooters, push scooters, kick scooters) available anywhere on the planet, but footbiking for commuting, exercise and as a competitive sport in its own right is one of the fastest-growing activities in Europe and the States.

Kickbikes are designed for roads and cycle tracks but are legal on footpaths subject to local byelaws and your common sense; so trips around town can use the nicest, most interesting and quietest routes. They are safe to ride and very light (9kg), so carrying them up steps or over obstacles is easy. Very simple to maintain and the absence of greasy bits means you can pretty much wear what you like.

You will get to work or the shops in town in about one third of the time it would take to walk, at similar overall speeds to cycling. You can also cruise for longer distances at about 8-10mph on the flattish with little effort; a 20mile trip at modest pace on flattish terrain takes about 2-21/2h for most people due to the outstanding rolling characteristics of Kickbikes. Work uphill or step off and walk - downhill is fast!
For competitive athletes, Kickbikes provide a unique high-intensity training (or cross-training) machine. You get muscle development similar to that achieved by both cycling and running, plus the aerobic intensity of running but at very low impact and without the other injuries associated with running and cycling. Footbike racing is an established international sport over 1km, 10km and marathon as well as 24h endurance races too - see Events and Races.
