Montserrat and cava cellars 8 hours

Departure from Barcelona to the Monastery of Santa María de Montserrat, located 45 km. from Barcelona. Once we arrive at the monastery and after the guide’s comprehensive explanations, you will have free time to enjoy this magical place and visit the “Moreneta” (the Black Madonna statue of Montserrat and patron saint of Catalonia), to ride on the St. Joan Cable Car up to 1,000 m. in height and to listen to the Escolanía (a choir comprising 50 boys’ voices). There is also the option of a guided tour of the Montserrat Museum. At an agreed time, transfer to the restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, a visit to some Bodegas or Wine Cellars to see how Cava or Wine is made. Afterwards, return to Barcelona and end of the excursion.
